- Prep items for transport (furniture, art, appliances, etc.)
- Load and unload items into and from moving truck
- Successfully lead a crew through a move
- Complete paperwork and payment collection (basic math skills)
- Work together to provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack customer belongings
- Greet customer upon arriving at the specified location and complete a walk-through of the premises
- Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing; comfortably interface with customer
- Assist driver with truck inspections and moving equipment inventory
- Assist driver with directions to customer location
- Be on time and ready to work
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Great time management skills
- 21 years or older due to insurance restrictions
- Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Access to reliable and punctual transportation
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Experience in the fields of moving, furniture industry, general labor or warehouse helpful
- Physical stamina to lift / carry 80 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day
- Ability to climb stairs on a daily basis
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
